v0.4 released! New maps, map cycle, and a loadout system


Hey everyone,

v0.4 is finally out. I uncovered some stuff during a playtest with a friend of mine that I'll need to fix. Some of that is in this build, some of it is not and will either be in a hotfix or new release.

Changes from v0.3 (03/16/24)

- new original soundtrack and music system (thank you Dudejoe870 for godot-openmpt, very cool)

- better menu

- replaced placeholder character

- added a couple new weapons, but you can't use them lol

- map cycling and no more disbanding lobbies

- StayAtHomeDev's viewmodel shader was implemented, so no more guns clipping (except for the AK-308 cause that has like 18 materials and i need to redo the animations anyway)

- stun grenade was added (yippee!)

- loadout system is implemented (this is what made v0.4 take so long, not even joking)

- better recoil and casing effects

- powerups including a new power weapon (right now, it's just the deagle and it's kind of buggy)

- ...and other miscellaneous bug fixes, optimizations, and other stuff i forgot

If you've stayed this long, thank you. Once again, I'm sorry for how long this took. Hopefully you enjoy the new build!
